ThumbScroll is a JPEG-image browser applet with a choice of vertical or horizontal layouts. An unlimited number of images are arranged in a row or column with a scrollbar. All images are intelligently scaled to fit in the available space. Clicking an image can link to a full-sized version of the image, or to any other Internet resource, in any frame or window.

Although ThumbScroll was designed to display small ('thumbnail') sized images, it can display images of any size. However, all images must be loaded when the applet starts, so choosing images with a small file-size (and thus small dimensions) is usually preferable.

ThumbScroll supports dynamic image selection, Cool Focus Satellite, and mouse-wheel scrolling in Internet Explorer 6+. Users can also move from one image to the next or previous using the keyboard up/down or left/right arrow keys.
